Plasencia - Year of the Ox Salomones
The noble Ox has long been a valued friend and tool in Chinese agriculture, and has been historically venerated as a symbol of honest, hard work. This particular set of characteristics are something that the Plasencia family heavily identify with, considering themselves farmers first, working the land and cultivating invaluable tobacco knowledge, born of unwavering hard work and dedication since 1865. It is this indomitable spirit and determination that have inspired them to join the fold in celebrating the Year of the Ox.
And what a celebration the Plasencia's have created! The Year Of The Ox Salomones (7” x 58 ring gauge) is a thoroughly impressive vitola constructed with tobacco entirely nurtured from seed to cigar under their watchful gaze, aged using an ancient technique of aging tobacco. Wrappers are selected and aged in handfuls of leaves folded delicately facing each other to acquire an immaculate appearance and aged patiently for many years until they meet the Plasencia family’s exacting standard of perfection.
